We are a small and comfortable mountain hotel with 18 rooms, where our guests can relax and rest in the heart of the Dolomites.
All rooms offer a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains: on one side Sassolungo and on the other side Marmolada, Colac and Gran Vernel.
Our hotel has ancient roots. As soon as You enter the lobby, You will notice many antique items and the traditional furniture of Val di Fassa, one of the four valleys around the Sella group, where people still speak Ladin.
When kindness makes the difference - We stayed here for the first time for my children's first ski week and I must say it was a very pleasant discovery. Fabiola and her daughters really know how to welcome and treat customers in the best way, not making them miss anything. I have a son who is allergic to milk and dairy products and from the second day they took care to find suitable meals for him right from breakfast. This is just to show their availability. Excellent food (staff and kitchen simply fantastic), rooms not large but spotless, always warm and well cared for, excellent location with bus stop to Canazei in front and to Ciampac at 50 meters. they have parking available and the car was never taken during the week, taking advantage of the excellent ski bus service. I add that with the new cable car that directly connects Alba to the Belvedere, the solution of staying here acquires even more value. We hope to return next year.
We stayed as a family for Christmas, a 2-star hotel but to tell the truth the rooms and services are worthy of a 4 star !!! The FANTASTIC owners, very kind and helpful, make you feel at home, the rooms and bathrooms very beautiful, up-to-date and all VERY CLEAN !! The abundant breakfast and dinner, and all really excellent ... impossible not to taste everything !! In front of the hotel passes the shuttle that takes you everywhere, really convenient, I forgot the car in their private parking !! 5 stars are also few, they deserve a higher score. Thanks for the wonderful week.
We rested for a week on January 4-11, three families with children (a baby and two 4.5 years old). We took breakfast and dinner and two-room suites so that the children could sleep separately. Rooms match the description (see photos on the website !!), well equipped, balconies overlooking the mountains. The breakfasts are the same every day, but the food is fresh and of high quality. Dinners are different every day! The portions are huge, so they ordered 2 times less than on the first day. Overall the dinners were very good, especially the desserts. Water is free, other drinks are on the menu. Of the main advantages - a very comfortable hotel, stylish clean rooms, friendly hosts, always ready to help. Good food, good wifi. There is a small sauna, a children's playroom, a table tennis table, a lobby where you can sit in the evening, a large parking lot. The stop is right across the road - which is very convenient! Buses go directly to the ski lifts in Alba and Canazei, a weekly ticket costs 6-7 euros. On the downside, in our room (208) the shower stall was leaking due to too small sides, although it looked like new. It was cool in the Room for the first two days, but then it warmed up. The hotel is not located in the city, to Canazei (where the main ski lift, restaurants, ski school, playground, pharmacy) 20 minutes walk or 3 minutes by bus. But this was not a minus for us. We will probably be back again! I highly recommend two-room suites for families with children. Booked in advance directly, through the mail contacted the hotel
We spent 4 days at Sassleng riding the Epiphany with my wife. The location is good, close to the two ski lifts Ciampac and Pecol; the ski bus stop is in front of the hotel, for Ciampac it is a 5 minute walk. As for the structure, I would say that it is well kept, we did not come across the recently renovated rooms but on the older ones that are still spacious, with a balcony and everything you need (hair dryer, TV, safe deposit box). ). There is a Finnish sauna which is not very large, while the fun / games area for children is very spacious, obviously there is the Ski room. We chose half board, very varied and good breakfast there is for every taste from sweet to savory, also excellent dinner; the staff is very nice and helpful, I had asked by phone if there was the possibility to change and leave the luggage in the morning of the first day (although the check-in by regulation was in the afternoon) and they immediately answered yes, then we arrived at the hotel shortly after we even had the room. Due to an unforeseen event we skipped the last night, leaving anyway after dinner and kindly they prepared us a breakfast to take away, they are small kind gestures that are appreciated. In my opinion it is a two star that tends a lot to three, I recommend it.
For several years now they have been staying in this small hotel and what can I say .... everything is perfect. Fabiola Alice Giulia is always very available and nice.
1.5 km from the Canazei ski lifts. The owner always ready to satisfy your every request. Good breakfast, but dinner seems to be in a restaurant. Really well cooked food. The rooms are really well decorated and the bathroom is super big! I highly recommend.
Fell in love with this hotel - Fantastic, cosy, comfortable cheap hotel located in a perfect position to enjoy the most wonderful mountains and slopes of the world, in a quiet zone just 1 km away from Canazei. Rooms are clean and well furnished, very tasty cuisine, storage for ski and boots downstairs, sauna and much more. Bus stop just in front of the hotel to get Belvedere or Ciampac Cable car. Everything masterfully managed by Mamma Fabiola and her beautiful daughters Giulia and Alice. Sooner or later I'll return there...
The real family hotel in the mountains. Very well run, close to the slopes, plentiful food, a small sauna at night, all at an affordable price.

In August 2009 the Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and take their name from the carbonate rock "dolomite". During winter they're an absolute paradise for downhill and cross-country skiers, and mountaineers alike. Local legends and fairy tales tell of an enchanted valley of unparalleled beauty. The charm of this valley where Canazei lies is called the Val di Fassa (or Fassa Valley) and has remained unchanged over time. Canazei lies in the upper part of the Val di Fassa and is one of the most popular Alpine resorts in the world. It's famous for its beautiful ski slopes, après-ski and excellent snow conditions. Directly linked to the Sellaronda circuit, the ski area of Val di Fassa offers modern lifts, 120km slopes for all levels suitable for children and beginners and also expert skiers. Canazei during winter is not just for skiing! It's possible to take amazing tours in the woodlands, slide along slopes with snowshoes, or ride with ponies to admire Dolomite panoramas riding in a carriage driven by horse! At the end of a long day on the slopes we can help you completely unplug and enjoy a relaxing day in the Wellness & Spa Centre, with internal and external pools, hydromassage and saunas.
